There is an ancient knowing that tending to spirit is fundamental in the process of healing. Spirit means many things to many people but in its widest context refers to the life force that animates every aspect of our being. When we are connected to spirit we have a deeper connection to Life, which, in turn, leads us to greater purpose and meaning.
Liz Butler has 22 years’ experience as a therapist. Originally trained as a nutritional therapist, Liz has a degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Nutritional Medicine, but more recently has followed her true passion: emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Liz is a qualified Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Matrix Reimprinting practitioner, as well as a Reiki Healer and HeartMath Coach. She is also a student of Theosophy and is currently studying for an advanced diploma. Liz has a great interest in the heart (physical, energetic and metaphysical) and as well as working with groups and individuals to support healing through heart-alignment, she has spent the last few years writing a book on the subject.
Steve Taylor is a senior lecturer in psychology at Leeds Beckett University, and the author of several best-selling books on psychology and spirituality. He is a past chair of the Transpersonal Psychology Section of the British Psychological Society. His new book is Extraordinary Awakenings: When Trauma Leads to Transformation, and his others books include The Clear Light, Out of the Darkness, Back to Sanity, The Calm Center, The Leap and Spiritual Science.
